In recent years, with the rapid development of HVDC power transmission in Anhui province, the performance evaluation of thyristor, as the core component of converter, is particularly important. Stable thyristor performance is not only the key to ensure the safe and efficient operation of transmission engineering, but also the cornerstone to ensure the stable and reliable power supply.
In order to respond to the development needs of HVDC power transmission in Anhui province, the Institute of Electrical Science and Technology gives full play to the talent advantages of the Doctor Youth Communist Party service team, promotes the Doctor youth to conduct in-depth research on the core business needs of the power grid, focuses on the core key issues of performance evaluation of core converter equipment such as converter valves, and relies on projects such as Anhui Provincial Nature Fund to independently develop the thyristor performance test platform. The platform can be compatible with high temperature blocking test of crimped and welded products, realize the extraction and sensing of sensitive parameters of thyristor aging, solve the technical problems of non-contact transient junction temperature and leakage current detection of thyristor, and provide a new way to solve the problems of difficult performance evaluation and less monitoring status of thyristor. This platform effectively improves the ability to independently test the insulation performance and aging performance of power devices, supports the sampling inspection of thyristor performance and fault thyristor performance analysis, and provides a strong starting point for the high-quality construction of "Shaanxi power into Wan" and other projects and the safe and stable operation of the converter station.
